Hello, friend! I’m so excited you are interested in essential oils, and I hope to answer all of your questions. In fact, I’m geeking out as I type this because essential oils make me so excited and I truly love teaching others about them.

I’ve personally used oils for nearly twenty years. My grandfather learned about them, particularly oregano oil, and we started adding a drop to water to support our immune system when we felt in need of a wellness boost. We experienced an instant difference, and loved how the oregano oil made us feel, so it became a part of my family’s winter and year-round wellness regimen.

As I grew more and more comfortable using essential oils, I started incorporating many more in my life. Tea tree oil became a medicine cabinet stable, along with lavender. And within no time I stopped using synthetic perfumes and started blending my own essential oils to wear as personal perfumes, along with using them for my own personal wellness regimen.

My grandfather is so happy I’ve continued to utilize essential oils, like him (he’s 84!), and I can wholly say they have been a big part of my life, my health and wellness regimen, along with my beauty routine for a number of years. The more I incorporated them into my life and learned their many, many uses, the more I became interested in searching out the best essential oils I can buy. You see, I’m one of those skeptic, type A personality people. I love to do research and because I take my family and my own health so seriously, I really dug deep into researching the best essential oil company.

My research, repeatedly, brought me to Young Living. There are no two or three ways around it; Young Living has spent the past 20 years pioneering the essential oil field.

I garden; I grow a lot of our food and all of our herbs. One of the things running a micro-farm has taught me is the importance of soil, plant care, and farming practices in the production of plants. We all know that we are what we eat, but consider the same is true for your plants. Plants are only as good as the soil, the conditions they are grown in. And if we are what we eat, and we eat and use plants, well, we are what our plants eat, too. Even if you never consume essential oils, if you inhale them and use them on your skin you are welcoming the oils into your body. And that is a big deal. Your skin is the largest organ of your body, and when we use a product topically, we are allowing our body, through our skin, to take in that product.

That’s a big deal to me. When I remember my skin is an organ, I remember the care I need to take with what it brings into my body.

I hope you’ll join me on this oily lifestyle focused on health and wellness. And I hope your interest will turn into a passion like mines so many years ago. I want to share with you some quick facts about Young Living, so you can move forward with me on this journey in confidence that we are using the best the essential oil business has to offer.
